AIApply Review 2026: We Tested It From India

AIApply review from India: pricing, pros, cons and trust signals. No Naukri or Foundit coverage. myjobb auto-applies there and on Workday and Greenhouse.

Shreyansh JainCo-Founder / CTO

Published 2 September 2026. By the myjobb Career Team, reviewed by a senior Indian tech recruiter.

Verdict: AIApply is a real, well built global job toolkit. Resume, cover letter and interview tools are strong. It has zero Naukri, Foundit, Hirist or Instahyre coverage. For India, use myjobb, which auto-applies on those four portals and on Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS career pages.

myjobb is India's first AI job agent and a universal auto-apply agent. It applies to jobs on Indian portals and on major ATS career pages. That dual coverage is the exact thing AIApply does not have.

This AIApply review is written from Bengaluru, for Indian job seekers. Most AIApply reviews online are written from the United States. They test the resume builder, praise Interview Buddy, and never once ask whether the thing can apply to a Naukri listing.

We asked that question first. The answer changes the recommendation completely.

How did we test AIApply from India?

We audited AIApply's entire public product surface from India between 30 August and 2 September 2026. That covered the homepage, the Auto Apply product page, the full tool list, all 13 language versions, and the Terms of Service.

We also read the primary trust records ourselves: the Trustpilot profile and the Better Business Bureau business profile. Every number in this review comes from one of those pages, on the date stated.

What we did not do: we did not buy Auto Apply credits and we did not send paid applications. So we report no interview rates and no callback percentages. Any review quoting those figures without disclosing a paid test is asking you to trust a number nobody can check.

Disclosure: myjobb publishes this review and competes with AIApply. To keep it usable, every AIApply claim below is sourced to AIApply's own site, its Terms of Service, Trustpilot, the BBB, or a named third-party review with a date. Where we could not source something, we left it out.

What is AIApply and what does it do?

AIApply is an AI job application platform that writes your resume and cover letter, coaches you for interviews, and can submit applications on your behalf. It is operated by AIApply Ltd, registered in England and Wales, Company No. 15200716, per its Terms of Service v2.1 dated 21 March 2026.

The product line is genuinely broad. As listed on aiapply.co on 2 September 2026, it includes:

  • Auto Apply. Finds matching roles and submits applications for you, paid by credit.
  • AI Resume Builder. ATS-oriented resumes tailored per job description.
  • AI Cover Letter Generator. A fresh letter per posting.
  • AI Mock Interview. Role-specific practice questions with feedback.
  • Interview Buddy. Live AI coaching during a real interview call.
  • AI Resume Scanner. An ATS check with keyword suggestions.
  • Resume Translator. Converts your resume into other languages.
  • Job board. The site claims access to "20M+ Jobs."
  • LinkedIn to Resume. One-step import from a LinkedIn profile.

AIApply's own Auto Apply FAQ explains the credit model plainly: "Each credit is one job application. Buy credits as needed, they never expire." That is a fair, clear statement, and we will come back to it in pricing.

What does AIApply actually do well?

AIApply is best at the writing layer of a job hunt. The cover letter generator, resume builder, resume translator and interview tooling are mature products with real users behind them. Its content library and multi-language reach are ahead of almost every rival in this category.

Credit where it is due. Four things stood out.

1. The content and SEO library is excellent. AIApply publishes deep career guides, resume examples by job function, salary guides and skill pages. Its "7 Best AI Job Search Tools" post ranks for the category head term. Whatever you think of the self-placement, the work is good.

2. Multi-language support is real, not decorative. The site ships in 13 languages including German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Czech, Arabic, Russian, Ukrainian, Swedish and Italian. Add the resume translator and you have a genuinely useful stack for a cross-border job search in Europe or the Gulf.

3. Interview tooling is a real differentiator. AI Mock Interview plus Interview Buddy is a combination most auto-apply tools do not offer at all. myjobb does not do interview prep today. If live interview coaching is what you need, AIApply has it and we do not.

4. Trustpilot sentiment is strongly positive. On 2 September 2026, AIApply held 4.3 out of 5 across 1,733 Trustpilot reviews, with 994 posted in the last twelve months. The distribution was 66% five-star and 11% one-star. Trustpilot also records that AIApply replied to 67% of negative reviews. That is a better reply rate than most tools in this space.

Where does AIApply fall short?

AIApply's weaknesses are structural rather than cosmetic: opaque pricing, a split subscription, a hard non-refund policy on Auto Apply, and no coverage of Indian job portals. None of these make it a bad product. They make it the wrong default for an Indian job hunt.

Pricing is not published. On 2 September 2026, we requested aiapply.co/pricing directly. It redirects to the homepage. There is no public price list anywhere on the site. You see numbers only after you create an account and work through onboarding. For a subscription product, that is a real usability problem, and it is the single most common complaint in third-party reviews.

The toolkit and the applying are two separate purchases. AIApply's own FAQ states it: the Premium subscription covers the resume builder, cover letter generator, interview prep, job board, scanner and translator. Auto Apply credits are the one "à la carte component," sold in packs. So the headline subscription price is not the price of getting applications sent.

Auto Apply is explicitly non-refundable. From the Terms of Service v2.1, dated 21 March 2026: "Auto-Apply is a non-refundable product. Due to the nature of this service and the resources involved, refunds are not available after applications have been submitted." Elsewhere the same document says fees are non-refundable except where law requires, and that accidental purchases qualify for a refund only if reported within 30 minutes of the charge.

Subscriptions auto-renew with a 24-hour cancellation window. The Terms state subscriptions "renew automatically at the then-current rate unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of your subscription term." Set a calendar reminder if you sign up.

No Indian portal coverage. This is the big one, and it gets its own section below.

Is AIApply legit?

AIApply is a legitimate, registered company with a working product and mostly positive user sentiment. It also carries an F rating from the Better Business Bureau for unanswered complaints. Both facts are true at once, and you should weigh both before you pay.

Here is what the primary records showed on 2 September 2026.

Trustpilot. 4.3 out of 5, described as "Excellent," across 1,733 reviews. 994 of those were posted in the last twelve months. The profile was claimed in October 2024. Trustpilot flags it as a merged profile, meaning some reviews originated on a different Trustpilot profile for the same company. Trustpilot also notes AIApply "asks customers to review," which is permitted and disclosed.

Better Business Bureau. The BBB profile for AiApply.co, Berkeley, California, shows a rating of F. The stated reasons are "Failure to respond to 5 complaint(s) filed against business" and "6 complaint(s) filed against business." The business is not BBB accredited. The BBB file was opened on 26 November 2024. The two customer reviews on that BBB profile are both one star.

An F is the lowest BBB grade, and the reason given is non-response rather than a finding of fraud. BBB itself notes that its profiles cover a three-year window and that a company's response pattern matters more than raw complaint count. Read the page yourself and form your own view.

Our read: AIApply is not a scam. It is a real company shipping real software, and thousands of users report good outcomes. It is also a company that has not answered five formal BBB complaints, does not publish prices, and sells its core automation on a non-refundable basis. "Legit, but read the terms before you pay" is the honest summary.

How much does AIApply cost in 2026?

AIApply does not publish pricing. The subscription covers the writing and interview toolkit, and Auto Apply credits are bought separately in packs. Third-party reviewers in 2026 report roughly $12 to $23 per week, and around $68 to $74 per month for a toolkit plus 100 applications.

Because there is no public price list, we will not state a single figure as fact. Here is what named sources reported, with dates.

  • JobRight's AIApply review, published 4 February 2026, reported pricing "starts at $12 per week and goes up to $23 per week, depending on application limits and the number of custom job matches per day," and noted there is no free trial.
  • Multiple 2026 review sites, including Remote Job Assistant and Wobo, report a Premium or Pro toolkit subscription around $29 per month with Auto Apply credits purchased on top, landing an all-in cost near $68 to $74 per month for around 100 applications.

Check current pricing inside AIApply's own signup flow before you buy. That is the only place it is shown.

For an Indian job seeker, two further points matter. AIApply's Terms state prices are "inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise," which is a UK tax construct. There is no INR price list, no UPI checkout, and no India-specific plan. You are buying in foreign currency, and your card issuer's forex markup applies on top.

For contrast, myjobb pricing is Free ₹0, Plus ₹499 per month and Pro ₹1,999 per month. It takes UPI, is prepaid, and does not auto-renew. Across any plausible September 2026 exchange rate, AIApply's toolkit-plus-credits combination costs several times myjobb Pro.

Does AIApply work in India?

You can use AIApply from India for resumes, cover letters, ATS scans and interview prep, and those parts work fine. What it cannot do is apply on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist or Instahyre. Those four portals carry the bulk of Indian mid-level hiring, so your main pipeline stays manual.

This is the India test, and it is where every global review stops short.

What we found on AIApply's own pages

We read the AIApply homepage, the Auto Apply product page, the tool index and the Terms of Service on 2 September 2026. Across all of it, there is no mention of Naukri, Foundit, Hirist, Instahyre or Internshala. None of the 13 language versions is an Indian language.

The signals are consistently global-first, and mostly Anglosphere:

  • The example job cards on the Auto Apply page show a Stripe role in London with a salary in pounds.
  • The homepage company logo wall is Coinbase, Spotify, Microsoft, Meta, SpaceX, Deloitte, Dropbox, FedEx and Amazon.
  • The billing entity is a UK company and the governing law is English law.
  • There is no concept of the fields Indian portals demand: current CTC, expected CTC in lakhs, notice period in days.

None of that is a criticism of AIApply's engineering. It is a product built for a different market, doing that job well.

What this means practically for an Indian job seeker

Say you are a backend engineer in Pune with four years of experience. Your live shortlist this week probably looks like this:

  1. Three Naukri listings at Indian product companies.
  2. Two Instahyre roles at funded startups.
  3. One Hirist posting for a senior backend role.
  4. Two Workday career pages at global capability centres in Bengaluru.
  5. One Greenhouse listing at a US company hiring remotely in India.

AIApply can help with roles 4 and 5, and can write your documents for all nine. It cannot submit roles 1, 2 or 3. That is six of nine applications you still fill in by hand, including the ones most likely to convert.

The screening questions are the other half of the problem. Indian portals ask for notice period, current CTC and expected CTC before a recruiter ever sees you. A tool with no model of those fields cannot answer them for you.

Which portals and ATS platforms does each tool auto-apply to?

myjobb auto-applies on four Indian portals and on career pages running seven major ATS platforms. AIApply auto-applies on global listings and company career pages sourced through its own job board. Neither tool auto-applies on LinkedIn. LinkedIn jobs appear in the myjobb feed and you click through to apply.

Pick myjobb if your shortlist includes Naukri, Foundit, Hirist or Instahyre roles, or if you want referrals and cold email in the same agent. Pick AIApply if you are job hunting outside India and want strong cover letters plus live interview coaching. The deciding factor is where your target jobs are posted.

How does myjobb handle the part AIApply cannot?

myjobb's auto-apply agent submits real applications on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre, and on career pages running Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS. Submissions go server-side through your own logged-in session. Recruiters see a normal application.

A few specifics that matter for Indian portals.

It answers Indian screening questions. Typed fields like location, current CTC, expected CTC and notice period come straight from your profile. Open-ended questions get a reasoned answer in your voice with a confidence score attached.

It pauses instead of guessing. If the agent has low confidence on a mandatory question, the run stops and asks you. It does not submit filler text to hit a quota.

It works at a human pace. You set a daily cap between 1 and 25. The agent applies overnight and sends a 9:00 AM IST report listing every question, every answer and every application, with one-click retry on failures. Read more on whether AI auto-apply is safe in India.

It tailors before it sends. The AI resume builder writes a fresh, JD-tailored, LaTeX-rendered PDF for each application in 10 to 20 seconds. Every resume gets an ATS score on keyword coverage, quantified bullets, action verbs and structure.

It finds the referral too. The referral finder surfaces 5 to 10 warm referrers per target company using public signals like shared college, shared ex-employer and hometown. It then drafts the ask in your voice, and you send it from your own account.

What are the best AIApply alternatives?

The best AIApply alternative depends on where you are applying. For India, myjobb is the only agent that auto-applies on Indian portals and on global ATS career pages. For a US or global search, JobCopilot, Simplify and JobRight are the three most credible substitutes, each strong in a different way.

1. myjobb, for India plus global ATS. The honest positioning: myjobb is the only tool here that covers both Indian job portals and major ATS career pages, with per-job resume tailoring, a referral finder and cold email in one agent. It is India-only today, with international coverage on the roadmap for 2027. It does not do interview prep, and it does not auto-apply on LinkedIn. Pricing is Free ₹0, Plus ₹499 per month, Pro ₹1,999 per month. See the full ranking in our guide to the best AI job search tools in India.

2. JobCopilot, for maximum global volume. The broadest company career page coverage in the category. No Indian portal support. Good if your search is entirely US, UK or EU and you want volume without babysitting a browser.

3. Simplify, for free autofill you control. Simplify's extension is genuinely the best free autofill for Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby forms. It fills; you press submit. That is a feature if you distrust full automation. It does not auto-apply, and it has no Naukri coverage. We compare the two in myjobb vs Simplify.

4. JobRight, for matching and insight. Strongest as a discovery and matching layer, with alumni and employee surfacing for referrals. US-first, thinner auto-apply. See myjobb vs JobRight.

If you are applying only on Indian portals, start with our best auto-apply tools for India and the guide to auto-apply on Instahyre, Hirist and Foundit.

Who should use AIApply, and who should not?

Use AIApply if you are applying to global roles and the hard part is writing and interviewing. Skip it as your primary tool if your job hunt runs on Indian portals, because it cannot submit there. The split is about geography, not quality.

AIApply is genuinely right for you if:

  • Your target roles are in the US, UK, EU or Gulf, posted on company career pages.
  • Cover letters are a meaningful part of every application you send.
  • You want live AI coaching during a real interview call.
  • You are applying across languages and need a resume translator.
  • You are comfortable with a non-refundable credit purchase and an auto-renewing subscription.

Pick something else if:

  • Your shortlist is mostly Naukri, Foundit, Hirist or Instahyre.
  • You want the tool to answer CTC and notice period questions for you.
  • You need INR pricing, UPI, and no auto-renew.
  • You want referrals found and drafted, not just documents written.
  • You want a usable free plan that actually sends applications.

Use both if: you run your Indian portal pipeline on myjobb and buy AIApply for mock interviews before final rounds. myjobb does not do interview prep, so that pairing is honest rather than a sales line.

FAQ

Is AIApply legit?

Yes, AIApply is a legitimate registered company, AIApply Ltd in England and Wales, with a working product. On 2 September 2026 it held 4.3 out of 5 across 1,733 Trustpilot reviews. The same day, the Better Business Bureau listed an F rating citing failure to respond to 5 of 6 complaints. Weigh both.

Does AIApply work in India?

Partly. You can use AIApply from India for resumes, cover letters, ATS scans and interview prep. It cannot auto-apply on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist or Instahyre, and none of those portals appear anywhere on its site as of 2 September 2026. For Indian portal auto-apply with INR pricing, myjobb is built for exactly that.

How much does AIApply cost per month?

AIApply publishes no price list, and aiapply.co/pricing redirects to the homepage. JobRight's February 2026 review reported $12 to $23 per week. Other 2026 reviewers report a toolkit subscription near $29 per month plus separately purchased Auto Apply credits. Check current pricing inside signup before buying.

Can AI auto-apply to jobs on Workday or Greenhouse?

Yes. myjobb auto-applies on company career pages running Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS, and on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre. AIApply also submits to global career pages. Neither tool auto-applies on LinkedIn today. LinkedIn jobs appear in the myjobb feed for one-click manual applying.

Can I get a refund from AIApply?

Usually not on Auto Apply. Its Terms of Service v2.1, dated 21 March 2026, state Auto Apply "is a non-refundable product" and refunds are unavailable once applications have been submitted. Accidental purchases qualify only if reported within 30 minutes. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before renewal.

The bottom line

AIApply is a good global product with a real gap in India. The writing tools are strong, the interview coaching is a genuine differentiator, and Trustpilot sentiment is mostly positive. The pricing opacity and the BBB record are worth knowing before you enter a card.

But an Indian job hunt is decided on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre, plus the Workday and Greenhouse pages of every GCC hiring in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. Only one tool in this review applies on both sides of that line.

Start free with myjobb. See your ranked feed across every portal, tailor three resumes, and let the agent send your first 10 applications this week. No card needed, and nothing renews on its own.
