Updated September 2026. Every tool below was checked against its own live public pages this month. Dead tools are flagged, not quietly deleted.
By the myjobb Career Team, reviewed by a senior Indian tech recruiter.
Direct answer: The best AI job application tool in 2026 is myjobb. myjobb is India's first AI job agent and a universal auto-apply agent: it applies to jobs on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre, and on company career pages running Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS. Pricing is Free ₹0, Plus ₹499/mo, Pro ₹1,999/mo.
That dual coverage is the whole point of this list. Most AI job application tools sit on one side of a line. US-built tools cover Workday and Greenhouse but have zero Naukri. India-built tools cover Naukri but stop at LinkedIn. Very few cross the line.
We verified 20 live tools and one dead one. Here is the ranking, the coverage matrix, and the dead tool check nobody else publishes.
How we judged these AI job application tools
This is our methodology box. Published up front so you can argue with it.
1. Verified live in September 2026. We opened each tool's public site and pricing page this month. If a page was gone, stale, or unreachable, the tool went to the dead tool section instead of the ranking.
2. Does it actually submit? Autofill extensions save typing. Auto-apply agents press submit. We separate the two and never blur them.
3. Indian portal coverage. Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre carry most Indian mid-level hiring. A tool that skips all four covers less than half an Indian job search.
4. Global ATS coverage. Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS run the career pages of GCCs, product firms and global companies hiring in India.
5. Per-job tailoring. One resume sprayed at 200 roles is a volume trap. We checked whether the tool rewrites against each job description.
6. Published pricing only. Where a tool does not publish a current price, we write "check current pricing" instead of inventing a figure. That rule applies to competitors and to us.
7. Delivery model. A cloud agent that runs overnight is not the same as a plugin that needs your laptop awake and a second paid subscription.
We build myjobb. We ranked it first on the coverage matrix below, and we name every row where a rival beats us.
Which AI job application tools cover Indian portals and global ATS boards?
Only myjobb covers both as a cloud service on monthly INR pricing. AgentCo also claims dual coverage, but it runs locally and needs a separate paid AI subscription. Every other tool covers one side or neither. This coverage matrix is the decision.

Read it as three blocks. Rows 2 to 10 are global only. Rows 11 to 13 are India first. Rows 14 to 21 are resume and tracking tools, not auto-apply agents. Row 1 is the only one in both coverage blocks without a caveat.
The 20 best AI job application tools in 2026, ranked
1. myjobb: best overall AI job application tool
Verified working as of September 2026.
myjobb is India's first AI job agent. It reads 50,000+ new jobs a day across Naukri, LinkedIn, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre, and ranks each one against your resume with a match score. It then auto-applies on the supported platforms listed below, on any role that clears your score floor.
The coverage is the differentiator. myjobb auto-applies on Indian portals and on company career pages running Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS. No rival on this list does both as a cloud service.
Submissions run server side through your own logged in sessions. Recruiters see a normal application, because it is one. A Chrome extension captures session cookies once, never passwords, AES-256-GCM encrypted and revocable.
Every application gets a freshly tailored resume built against that job description in 10 to 20 seconds. Open ended screening questions get a reasoned answer in your voice with a confidence score. If confidence is low on a mandatory question, the run pauses and asks you.
You set a daily cap between 1 and 25. The agent applies overnight and sends a 9:00 AM IST report with every question, answer and submission.
Pricing: Free ₹0 with 10 auto-applies a month. Plus ₹499/mo for 100. Pro ₹1,999/mo for unlimited. See pricing.
Honest limitation: LinkedIn auto-apply is not live. LinkedIn jobs appear in your ranked feed and you click through yourself. LinkedIn auto-apply is on the roadmap. myjobb is India only today, with international planned for 2027.
Best for: Indian job seekers whose shortlist mixes a Naukri listing, an Instahyre role and a Workday page at a global firm hiring in Bengaluru.
2. JobCopilot: broadest global company site coverage
Verified working as of September 2026.
JobCopilot monitors over 500,000 company career pages and auto-applies daily. It can send up to 50 applications a day, tailors your resume per role, and lets you review before submission.
The copilot learns from your edits. It also bundles a tracker, mock interviews, cover letters and hiring manager emails. Coverage of official career pages means fewer fake listings.
Pricing: Not published on the homepage. Public comparisons cite about $28/mo. Check current pricing.
Gap: Zero Naukri, Foundit, Hirist or Instahyre. The vocabulary of CTC and notice period does not exist in the product. For an Indian search, that removes most of your funnel. See myjobb vs JobCopilot.
Best for: Global searches run entirely on company career pages.
3. Tsenta: fastest submission on US career pages
Verified working as of September 2026.
Tsenta watches 50,000+ company career pages, supports 15+ ATSes covering a claimed 75% of Fortune 500 listings, and submits in 2 to 3 seconds once you approve a match.
The receipt and diff view are genuinely good. You see exactly what changed in your resume and exactly what was sent. Caps are published rather than hidden behind "unlimited" marketing.
Pricing: Free first 25 applications, no card. Starter $19/mo for 600 apps. Pro $39/mo for 1,500. Power $99/mo for 4,500.
Gap: No Indian portals at all. Its own content is built around OPT timelines and US new grads. Pricing in dollars adds a currency tax for Indian users. See myjobb vs Tsenta.
Best for: US based candidates chasing the first application window on ATS heavy employers.
4. Simplify: best free autofill extension
Verified working as of September 2026.
Simplify is the best free autofill tool in this category, and we will say that plainly. Its Chrome extension fills applications on Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, LinkedIn and Indeed from one saved profile.
Form filling time drops sharply. The UI is clean, the tracker is usable, and the free tier is real rather than a trial.
Pricing: Free for autofill. Paid tiers add tracking and AI assistance.
Gap: It is autofill, not auto-apply. You still click submit on every single job. Nothing happens while you sleep. And there is no Naukri, Foundit, Hirist or Instahyre support. See myjobb vs Simplify.
Best for: People who want to apply manually but much faster on global ATS forms.
5. FastApply: cheapest monthly global auto-apply
Verified working as of September 2026, with a caveat.
FastApply runs a Chrome extension plus a web dashboard with a 24/7 job matcher across 12+ boards including Workday, Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby. It tailors resumes and cover letters per posting on higher tiers.
Pricing (published May 2026): 5 free credits with no card. Starter $14/mo for 200 apps. Pro $29/mo for 500. Elite $49/mo for 1,000.
Caveat: Its flagship comparison article was published May 2026 and last modified August 2026. We saw no fresh blog activity after June 2026. Treat the pricing above as a May 2026 snapshot and verify before paying.
Gap: Its own comparison does not list any Indian portal. No annual discount tier.
Best for: A short global search where you want monthly billing you can cancel.
6. LoopCV: best approval queue
Verified working as of September 2026.
LoopCV has been running since the late 2010s with a strong European base. You configure search loops, it finds matches, then either applies automatically or queues roles for your approval.
That approval queue is a real differentiator. If you dislike the idea of a bot putting your name on a role you never saw, LoopCV solves it.
Pricing: Free tier at 10 applications a month. Paid tiers at $19.99/mo and $49.99/mo.
Gap: Direct ATS coverage is narrower than JobCopilot or Tsenta. It leans on aggregator boards. No Indian portal support. See myjobb vs LoopCV.
Best for: Cautious applicants who want a human check before submission.
7. AIApply: strongest all in one global toolkit
Verified working as of September 2026.
AIApply is more than an auto-apply tool. It bundles resume generation, cover letters, mock interviews, follow up emails and application submission. Its content operation is genuinely strong and its interview practice module is one of the better ones we tested against.
Pricing: $24/mo, or $12/mo billed yearly.
Gap: No Indian portal coverage. Its own flagship listicle names two products that are not real Indeed or LinkedIn product names, which is a credibility problem for a "best tools" page. See myjobb vs AIApply.
Best for: Global candidates who want documents, interview prep and applying in one subscription.
8. JobRight: best AI job discovery
Verified working as of September 2026.
JobRight is discovery first and does it well. It surfaces high fit roles with salary ranges, hiring patterns and possible referral contacts, then guides you through next steps.
The insight layer is the reason to use it. Knowing who at a company can refer you is worth more than another 50 blind applications.
Pricing: 10 free daily matches. Paid tiers exist. Check current pricing.
Gap: The auto-apply layer is thinner than the discovery layer. Multiple independent comparisons class it as assistive rather than end to end. No Indian portals. See myjobb vs JobRight.
Best for: Finding the right roles rather than submitting at volume.
9. LazyApply: cheapest annual price for raw volume
Verified working as of September 2026.
LazyApply is the best known name in bulk applying. Its extension fires at LinkedIn Easy Apply, Indeed, ZipRecruiter and Glassdoor with daily caps of 15, 150 or 1,500 depending on tier.
Pricing: Basic $99/year. Premium $149/year. Ultimate $999/year. Annual billing only, no free trial.
Gap: Volume without tailoring. Independent reviews flag two risks: Easy Apply listings skew low quality, and burst applying can trigger platform anti spam systems. It also needs your browser open. No Naukri support at all. See our three way comparison.
Best for: A confirmed 12 month US search where you want the lowest annual sticker price.
10. Job Agent: best hands off pipeline on direct company boards
Verified working as of September 2026.
Job Agent scrapes 600+ direct company job boards daily, scores each role, fills forms including open ended questions, submits, then scans Gmail for confirmations and interview requests.
The Gmail response tracking is unusual and useful. No browser needs to stay open.
Pricing: Free 3 apps/month. Starter $6/mo for 25. Pro $19/mo for 100. Growth $39/mo for 250. Max $69/mo for 500.
Gap: No preview before submission, which its founder states openly. No Indian portals. Small company with limited track record.
Best for: Global candidates who want a fully autonomous daily pipeline at low cost.
11. ApplyCove: supervised auto-apply for Naukri
Verified working as of September 2026.
ApplyCove is India first and honest about it. It auto-applies on Naukri and LinkedIn, and the automation runs livestreamed so you can watch each application and pause or take over.
Supervision is a real answer to the "black box" objection. Its own site says no user has reported a permanent Naukri suspension in 18 months.
Pricing: Free tier with a 30 minute automation trial and a daily allowance. Paid from ₹349/mo.
Gap: Its own July 2026 comparison table lists no global ATS coverage. Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre are not named. It also omits myjobb from its comparison table entirely.
Best for: Indian job seekers who want to watch every application go out.
12. AutoApply.in: one time payment for an India search
Verified working as of September 2026.
AutoApply.in covers Naukri, LinkedIn and Indeed, and claims support for 50+ ATS platforms. It sells on a one time payment rather than a subscription, which suits a long search.
Pricing: One time, roughly ₹5,000 to ₹25,000 depending on tier per third party comparisons. Check current pricing.
Gap: The 50+ ATS claim is not independently verified in any source we could check. There is no live takeover during a run. The upfront cost is high next to ₹499/mo.
Best for: Indian candidates who prefer paying once.
13. AgentCo (Scout): dual coverage, but local and with a second subscription
Verified working as of September 2026.
AgentCo is the only other tool on this list claiming both Indian portals and global ATS. Scout covers Naukri, iimjobs, Hirist, LinkedIn and Indeed India, plus Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workday, across 30+ sources per run.
Credit where due: the coverage claim is real and the morning digest transparency model is good.
Pricing: Free to discover on Scout Web. Tailoring ₹299 per session or ₹399 for 50 credits. Overnight auto-apply is a ₹599/mo plugin.
Gap: The plugin runs inside Claude Code on your own machine. That means installing a developer CLI, keeping your laptop awake overnight, and paying about ₹1,700/mo for Claude Pro on top. Its own page discloses this. Real cost is closer to ₹2,300/mo.
This is the honest myjobb differentiator. Dual coverage exists in two products. myjobb delivers it as a cloud service on a ₹499/mo plan with nothing to install and no laptop left running.
Best for: Developers already comfortable inside a CLI.
14. Careerflow: LinkedIn optimisation and tracking
Verified working as of September 2026.
Careerflow focuses on LinkedIn profile optimisation, application tracking and resume review. It scores your profile and suggests concrete fixes.
Pricing: Free tier plus paid plans. Check current pricing.
Gap: Not an auto-apply agent. It improves how you look, not how much you apply.
Best for: Cleaning up a weak LinkedIn profile before you start applying.
15. Huntr: cleanest job application tracker
Verified working as of September 2026.
Huntr is a kanban style tracker with a browser extension that saves jobs in one click. It is well built and well liked.
Pricing: Free plus paid.
Gap: It does not apply for you and does not solve timing. It is a system of record.
Best for: People running a small, targeted search who want organisation.
16. Teal: tracking plus resume iteration
Verified working as of September 2026.
Teal combines a tracker, an AI resume builder and a Chrome extension. The free tier is unusually generous. Its resume match scoring against a job description is solid.
Pricing: Free tier plus paid.
Gap: Auto-apply is not the workflow. Teal is a complement to an agent, not a replacement.
Best for: Iterating one strong resume across a curated shortlist.
17. Jobscan: best ATS keyword check
Verified working as of September 2026.
Jobscan is the reference tool for ATS optimisation. Paste your resume and a job description and it scores keyword match, then names the gaps.
Pricing: Free limited scans, then $49.95/mo.
Gap: It applies to nothing. It is also expensive next to the free ATS checker built into myjobb. Over optimising can also make a resume read like a keyword list.
Best for: Checking a resume before a high stakes application. Read our ATS resume format guide for India alongside it.
18. Rezi: ATS first resume drafting
Verified working as of September 2026.
Rezi builds ATS friendly resumes with AI keyword targeting against a specific job description. Bullet point generation is fast and the templates parse cleanly.
Pricing: Free tier plus paid. Check current pricing.
Gap: Resume tool only. No applying, no job discovery, no portal coverage.
Best for: Drafting a strong master resume from scratch.
19. Enhancv: resume design plus a free checker
Verified working as of September 2026.
Enhancv pairs a design led builder with a free resume checker that grades content, structure and impact. The free score is a genuinely useful entry point.
Pricing: Free checker. Paid builder tiers.
Gap: Its more visual templates can hurt ATS parsing. For Indian corporate roles, stick to single column output. Not an auto-apply tool.
Best for: Job seekers who want feedback plus a polished document.
20. Kickresume: templates and AI drafting
Verified working as of September 2026.
Kickresume offers a large template library with AI assisted writing and a cover letter builder. It is beginner friendly.
Pricing: Free tier plus paid. Check current pricing.
Gap: Design first, so template choice matters for ATS. No applying, no tracking depth, no India specific portal support.
Best for: Freshers who want structure and a decent looking first resume.
Dead tool check: which AI job application tools are no longer working?
Sonara is dead. FastApply's blog looks dormant after June 2026. Most "best of 2026" lists still recommend both, because nobody re-checks. We do, and this is the section competitors do not publish.
Sonara: discontinued, brand now under Bold Ltd
Status: do not sign up.
Sonara announced a shutdown on 1 February 2024 after failing to raise funding. Users were locked out of application queues and history mid search. Roughly six months later the brand was acquired by Bold Ltd, the group behind Zety, LiveCareer and MyPerfectResume.
Reporting since then is contradictory. Some sources describe a relaunch under Bold with trial-and-rolling-subscription pricing. Others record sonara.ai returning 403 errors or timing out through April 2026, with no shutdown notice, no migration path and no data export.
Either way, Sonara is not a safe recommendation in September 2026. Any list still ranking it at number four on a $2.95 trial is recycling 2023 research.
FastApply: live product, dormant content
Status: live, but verify pricing before paying.
FastApply's product is up. Its blog is another matter. Its flagship comparison was published May 2026 and modified August 2026, and we found no substantive new posts after June 2026. Its pricing is labelled "May 2026" on its own page.
That is not proof of a shutdown. It is a reason to check the pricing page yourself rather than trust a four month old figure.
Tools we removed from earlier drafts
Massive Apply appears in competitor comparisons with a 13 US state limit, a 3 month minimum and user complaints about application frequency. Geographic scope makes it irrelevant in India.
Wobo states plainly on its own site that it does not offer comprehensive support for job seekers in Asia. Honest of them, and disqualifying here.
Oaki appears in India-targeted comparison tables despite covering only US boards. Do not let a rupee-priced listicle imply otherwise.
Adzuna ApplyIQ is free and live, but its coverage is Adzuna's own index. Useful as a free extra, not as your main agent.
What is the best AI job application tool for Indian job seekers?
myjobb is the best AI job application tool for Indian job seekers, because it is the only cloud agent that auto-applies on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre and on Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever career pages. ApplyCove and AutoApply.in cover Indian portals only. Global tools cover neither.
Here is the India section with INR pricing, so you can compare like for like.
- myjobb. Indian portals covered: Naukri, Foundit, Hirist, Instahyre · Global ATS: Yes, 7 named ATS platforms · Monthly INR cost: ₹0 free, ₹499 Plus, ₹1,999 Pro · Runs in cloud: Yes
- ApplyCove. Indian portals covered: Naukri, LinkedIn · Global ATS: Not listed · Monthly INR cost: From ₹349 · Runs in cloud: Yes, supervised
- AutoApply.in. Indian portals covered: Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed · Global ATS: Claimed, unverified · Monthly INR cost: One time ₹5,000 to ₹25,000 · Runs in cloud: Partly
- AgentCo (Scout). Indian portals covered: Naukri, iimjobs, Hirist · Global ATS: Claimed · Monthly INR cost: ₹599 plus about ₹1,700 for Claude Pro · Runs in cloud: No, runs on your laptop
- Arya by Mentoria. Indian portals covered: Naukri, LinkedIn, IIMJobs, Foundit · Global ATS: No · Monthly INR cost: Check current pricing · Runs in cloud: Concierge service
- LoopCV. Indian portals covered: None · Global ATS: Limited · Monthly INR cost: About ₹1,100 · Runs in cloud: Yes
- JobCopilot. Indian portals covered: None · Global ATS: Yes · Monthly INR cost: About ₹2,700 · Runs in cloud: Yes
- LazyApply. Indian portals covered: None · Global ATS: No · Monthly INR cost: About ₹9,500 per year, annual only · Runs in cloud: No, browser must stay open
Two things jump out of that table. First, the India-first tools are cheap but narrow. Second, the global tools are broad but blind to Naukri and cost two to five times more in rupees.
myjobb Plus at ₹499/mo is the only row that is both cheap and wide. Read the deeper breakdown in our guide to the best tool to auto-apply for jobs in India.
Which job boards and ATS platforms can myjobb auto-apply to?
myjobb auto-applies on four Indian job portals and on company career pages running seven major ATS platforms. Indian portals: Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre. ATS platforms: Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS. LinkedIn jobs appear in your feed but you click apply yourself.
- Naukri. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Foundit. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Hirist. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Instahyre. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Workday. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Greenhouse. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Ashby. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Lever. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- Oracle Recruiting. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- SAP SuccessFactors. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- iCIMS. Auto-apply supported: Yes
- LinkedIn. Auto-apply supported: No, feed only, you click apply. Roadmap
That last row is the one we get asked about most. We do not claim LinkedIn auto-apply, because it is not live. Any tool making a claim it cannot back is a tool you should not trust with your login.
More detail on portal behaviour is in our guides to auto-applying on Instahyre, Hirist and Foundit and auto-applying on Naukri safely.
How do you choose between AI job application automation tools?
Choose on coverage first, then on whether the tool actually submits, then on price. Coverage decides whether the tool can reach your target jobs at all. Submission decides whether it saves real time. Price only matters once the first two questions are answered honestly.
Use this decision path.
- Your shortlist mixes Indian portals and global career pages. Choose myjobb.
- You apply only on Naukri and want to watch every run. Choose ApplyCove.
- You apply only on global company career pages. Choose JobCopilot or Tsenta.
- You want an approval step before anything sends. Choose LoopCV.
- You want to apply manually but faster. Choose Simplify, and pair it with Jobscan.
- You need interview prep bundled in. Choose AIApply.
- You want the lowest annual sticker price and accept low quality volume. Choose LazyApply.
- Your resume is the actual problem. Choose Rezi, Enhancv or Teal before any auto-apply tool.
That last line matters. An agent that applies to 100 roles with a weak resume produces 100 rejections faster. Fix the document first. Our ATS resume format guide covers what Indian recruiters actually screen for.
What do the best AI job application tools have in common in 2026?
The best AI job application tools in 2026 share four traits: verified live pricing, real submission rather than autofill, per job resume tailoring, and published caps instead of vague "unlimited" claims. Tools missing any of the four tend to be either dormant products or volume traps.
They publish their pricing. If the pricing page is a demo request form, you are not the customer.
They tailor per job. Greenhouse's 2026 Hiring Benchmarks report found the average job received 244 applications in 2025, up from 116 in 2022. Volume alone no longer separates you from anyone.
They show you what was sent. Receipts, diffs or morning digests. If you cannot audit what went out in your name, do not use it.
They pace themselves. Burst applying triggers anti spam systems on every major platform. Human pace submission through your own session is safer. We cover this in detail in is AI auto-apply safe in India.
They admit limits. myjobb does not do LinkedIn auto-apply. Simplify does not submit. Job Agent does not preview. Any list where every tool is perfect is an ad.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI tool to apply for jobs in 2026?
myjobb is the best AI tool to apply for jobs if your search includes India. It auto-applies on Naukri, Foundit, Hirist and Instahyre, and on Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby and Lever career pages, from ₹0 to ₹1,999 a month. For global only searches, JobCopilot and Tsenta are the strongest alternatives.
Can AI auto-apply to jobs on Workday or Greenhouse?
Yes. myjobb auto-applies on career pages running Workday, Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Oracle Recruiting, SuccessFactors and iCIMS, alongside Indian portals. JobCopilot, Tsenta and FastApply also support major ATS platforms but cover no Indian job portals. Simplify autofills these forms but you still click submit yourself.
Is there a free AI tool that applies to jobs for you?
Yes. myjobb has a free plan with 10 auto-applies a month, no card needed. Tsenta gives 25 free applications, FastApply gives 5 credits, LoopCV gives 10 a month, and Job Agent gives 3. Simplify is free but autofills only, so it never submits for you.
Do AI job application tools actually work?
They work when they tailor each application and apply at a human pace. They fail when they spray one generic resume at hundreds of roles. Tailored applications score higher in ATS screening than identical ones. Volume without tailoring mostly produces faster rejections, not more interviews.
Which AI job application tools work on Naukri?
Only India-built tools support Naukri. myjobb, ApplyCove, AutoApply.in, AgentCo Scout and Arya by Mentoria all auto-apply there. LazyApply, LoopCV, JobCopilot, Simplify, Tsenta, FastApply and AIApply have no Naukri support at all. myjobb is the only one that adds Foundit, Hirist, Instahyre and global ATS boards.
The short version
If you are job hunting in India in 2026, the tool list above collapses to one question. Does your shortlist include both Indian portals and global career pages? For almost every Indian candidate, it does.
myjobb is the only AI job application tool that covers both, as a cloud agent, on monthly rupee pricing, with nothing to install and no laptop left running overnight.
Start on the free plan. Ten auto-applies, a ranked job feed across every portal, and a tailored resume per job. No card needed.
