• Plan and monitor daily inbound activities as per dock and manpower availability.
• Ensure timely unloading of vehicles and receipt of materials.
• Verify shipment documents such as Invoice, Delivery Challan, ASN, Packing List, and GRN requirements.
• Coordinate with transporters, suppliers, and customer representatives for smooth receiving operations.
• Ensure materials are received as per SOP and customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate physical verification of received goods.
• Monitor GRN creation in WMS/ERP within defined timelines.
• Ensure proper barcode scanning, labeling, and system updates.
• Investigate and report shortages, excesses, damages, and discrepancies.
• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy during receiving and put-away processes.
• Ensure timely put-away of received material into designated storage locations.
• Optimize space utilization in warehouse racks and floor storage.
• Monitor FIFO/FEFO compliance wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with inventory and outbound teams to maintain stock visibility.
• Supervise warehouse associates, forklift operators, and contract manpower.
• Allocate manpower based on workload and priority.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate daily targets.
• Monitor productivity and performance of team members.
• Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
