Workday Functional consultant(Finance)

We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Financial Management and finance business processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing Workday Finance modules, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Customer-to-Cash (C2C), with a strong understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support Workday Financial Management modules.
• Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and translate business needs into functional solutions.
• Manage and support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including procurement, supplier invoices, and payments.
• Support Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including general ledger, journals, accounting, financial reporting, and period-end close.
• Manage Customer-to-Cash (C2C) processes, including customer accounts, billing, invoicing, and collections.
• Configure and support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functionalities.
• Assist with integrations, data migration, functional testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, and process flows.
• Collaborate with finance, technical, and business teams to ensure successful implementation and system enhancements.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot Workday Finance-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Workday Financial Management.
• Strong functional knowledge of P2P, R2R, and C2C business processes.
• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Experience with Workday configuration, business processes, and financial reporting.
• Understanding of general ledger, supplier accounts, customer accounts, invoicing, payments, and reconciliation.
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation, testing, and UAT.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
