Urgent Vacancy For Head Engineering

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure maximum equipment reliability and availability through preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance.
• Monitor and minimize downtime of machinery, equipment, utilities, and instruments.
• Plan and control engineering and maintenance expenditure within approved budgets.
• Optimize consumption of power, fuel, steam, energy, and other utilities.
• Ensure timely statutory inspection/testing of equipment, coordinating with Production to minimize operational disruption.
• Strengthen spare-parts planning, inventory control, critical-spares management, and vendor development.
• Maintain equipment history records and use maintenance data for reliability improvement.
• Drive modification, debottlenecking, energy-saving, reliability, and continuous-improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, housekeeping, ISO, Responsible Care (RC), Permit-to-Work, PPE, and other plant safety procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections, ensure closure of observations, train contractors on safety requirements, and support the plant during emergencies.
• Ensure proper reporting and investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure effective utilization of SAP systems for maintenance planning, equipment history, spares, procurement, and cost monitoring.

Preferred candidate profile

1) BE/B.Tech In Mechanical Engineering with 12 to 15 years work experience in plant engineering and maintenance.

2) Lead Engineering Position
