    • Identify, evaluate and onboard domestic and international suppliers.
    • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and long-term supply agreements.
    • Ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality and delivery commitments.

    2. Supplier & Vendor Management

    • Develop and maintain a qualified and reliable supplier base for aerospace and defence manufacturing requirements.
    • Conduct supplier evaluation, qualification, performance monitoring and periodic reviews.
    • Establish supplier performance metrics covering Quality, Cost, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and responsiveness.
    • Drive supplier development and corrective actions to address quality and delivery issues.
    • Maintain approved vendor lists and supplier evaluation records.

    3. Aerospace Quality & Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure procurement processes comply with AS9100-D and applicable aerospace quality requirements, including relevant AS9120 requirements where applicable.
    • Coordinate with the Quality team to ensure supplier approval, material acceptance and compliance with purchase specifications.
    • Ensure materials and components are procured from approved and qualified sources.
    • Support internal, external and customer audits related to procurement and supply chain activities.

    4. Material Traceability & Documentation

    • Ensure end-to-end material traceability from supplier procurement through receipt, storage and issue to production.
    • Verify Certificates of Conformity (CoC), Certificates of Analysis (CoA), test certificates, material specifications and other relevant quality documents.
    • Maintain batch numbers, lot identification, shelf-life records and material history.
    • Ensure proper documentation for aerospace materials, components and special processes.
    • Maintain procurement records and documentation required for quality and regulatory audits.

    5. Inventory & Warehouse Management

    • Implement effective inventory control practices, including FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
    • Coordinate material receipts, inspection, storage, preservation and issuance to production.
    • Minimise excess inventory, material wastage, stock-outs and obsolete inventory.

    6. Logistics, Import & Export Management

    • Coordinate domestic and international shipments, freight forwarding and customs clearance.
    • Manage import/export documentation, HS codes, customs requirements and applicable trade regulations.
    • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics partners.
    • Ensure timely delivery of materials while optimising transportation and logistics costs.
