Social Media Marketing Intern

Role & responsibilities

• Work directly with the founder to build and strengthen her personal brand.
• Plan monthly and weekly content calendars for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
• Research trending topics, viral formats, industry conversations, and content opportunities.
• Convert the founder's ideas, experiences, podcasts, and insights into engaging social media content.
• Develop creative hooks, captions, scripts, and content angles that resonate with the target audience.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and content quality.
• Plan, create, schedule, and publish Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant content formats.
• Edit basic short-form videos with engaging cuts, subtitles, transitions, and suitable audio.
• Create attractive social media graphics, carousels, thumbnails, and promotional creatives.
• Repurpose long-form videos and podcast episodes into multiple short-form content pieces.
• Monitor content performance, audience engagement, and platform trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve reach, retention, engagement, and follower growth.
• Research and identify potential podcast guests, including founders, entrepreneurs, creators, industry experts, and other relevant personalities.
• Reach out to prospective guests through email, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels.
• Manage guest communication, follow-ups, confirmations, and scheduling.
• Coordinate podcast planning, guest details, promotional requirements, and pre-recording communication.
• Research guests and assist in preparing relevant topics, questions, and discussion points.
• Coordinate podcast promotions and repurpose recorded episodes into engaging social media content.
