Project Manager/ Site Lead

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Site Lead who can take complete ownership of wind power projects from project initiation and planning through execution, commissioning and handover.

This is an end-to-end project management role. The candidate must have experience managing the overall delivery of wind projects and coordinating multiple functions, contractors and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

• Take end-to-end ownership of wind power projects from project planning through execution, commissioning and final handover.
• Lead overall project execution and ensure projects are delivered within the agreed timeline, budget, quality and safety parameters.
• Prepare and monitor project execution plans, schedules, milestones and resource requirements.
• Coordinate and manage civil, electrical, mechanical, erection, installation, grid/interconnection and commissioning activities as applicable to the project.
• Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, OEMs, consultants, vendors and other project partners.
• Lead project/site teams and ensure effective utilization of manpower, equipment and resources.
• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and proactively address delays, bottlenecks and execution risks.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commercial, finance, logistics and other internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review drawings, technical requirements, project specifications and execution plans in coordination with relevant teams.
• Manage project-related issues and ensure timely resolution of technical, commercial and site-level challenges.
• Monitor project costs and support effective budget and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with project quality standards, statutory requirements and HSE policies.
• Coordinate with government authorities, landowners, utilities, DISCOMs/grid authorities and other external stakeholders wherever required.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, synchronization/grid connectivity and final project handover.
• Maintain project documentation, MIS, progress reports and management updates.
• Ensure successful project closure and handover to the relevant operations/O&M team.

• 7-8+ years of overall experience, with significant experience in wind power projects.
• Mandatory: Proven experience managing complete/end-to-end wind projects.
• The candidate should have handled overall project execution/delivery, rather than only one specific function.
• Must have experience coordinating multiple project activities such as civil works, electrical works, mechanical/erection activities, procurement, contractors, commissioning and project handover.
• Experience managing EPC contractors, vendors, OEMs and multidisciplinary site/project teams.
• Strong understanding of the complete wind project lifecycle.
• Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
