Job Overview
CTA Apparels is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented PD Merchandiser to manage product development activities, coordinate with buyers and vendors, and ensure timely execution of samples and new product developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle product development activities from initial concept to final sample approval.
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, fabric suppliers, and internal teams.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, and sample development.
- Understand buyer requirements, tech packs, specifications, and measurement sheets.
- Prepare and maintain sample status, development trackers, and T&A charts.
- Coordinate for proto samples, fit samples, size sets, and pre-production samples.
- Ensure samples meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Follow up on costing, consumption, and material availability.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of samples.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in the apparel/garment industry.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Good understanding of product development and sampling processes.
- Familiarity with tech packs, BOM, costing, and measurement sheets.
- Strong follow-up, coordination, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications.
