Manager - Financial Modelling

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Manager of Financial Modelling to join our high-impact finance team in Gurugram. In this role, you will serve as the primary architect for complex financial models that drive strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and long-term business planning. You will work closely with senior leadership, investment committees, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business initiatives into robust financial projections. By providing deep analytical insights and ensuring the integrity of our transaction reporting, you will directly influence the company growth trajectory, fundraising success, and overall financial health in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and maintain sophisticated financial models to support corporate finance initiatives, ensuring leadership has accurate data for high-stakes investment decisions.

- Lead the end-to-end forecasting process by integrating operational metrics with financial outcomes to provide reliable guidance on business performance.

- Manage the preparation of comprehensive transaction reporting packages for investors and internal stakeholders to facilitate transparency and informed capital management.

- Spearhead fundraising efforts by developing compelling pitch decks and valuation models that effectively communicate the company value proposition to potential investors.

- Conduct rigorous financial analysis on market trends and internal performance to identify growth opportunities and mitigate potential financial risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental budgets with the broader corporate strategy, ensuring optimal resource allocation across the organization.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building complex, scalable financial models from scratch, with a deep understanding of valuation techniques and capital structure optimization.

- Proven ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights, communicating complex financial narratives clearly to non-finance stakeholders and executive leadership.

- Strong proficiency in corporate finance principles, including cash flow management, debt structuring, and equity financing, backed by 8 - 14 years of relevant professional experience.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence decision-making and manage relationships with external investors and internal department heads.

- Academic background in Finance, Economics, or Accounting, preferably with an MBA or professional certification like CFA or CA, which provides a strong foundation for analytical rigor.

- High degree of adaptability and comfort working in a hybrid office environment in Gurugram, maintaining productivity and collaboration across distributed teams.
