Job Description

We are hiring an Associate Financial Security Quality Assurance to join our Compliance team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should have experience in KYC, Sanctions, Financial Crime Compliance, or Compliance Quality Assurance. The role involves reviewing investigations, identifying compliance gaps, preparing QA reports, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Quality Assurance reviews of investigations and Sanctions cases.
• Select samples for review based on risk indicators and performance metrics.
• Assess investigation quality and compliance with Sanctions, and internal policies.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies, exceptions, and potential compliance issues.
• Prepare monthly QA reports and communicate findings and recommendations to management.
• Maintain QA issue trackers and follow up on outstanding findings.
• Support compliance reviews, special investigations, and regulatory examinations.
• Assist in developing and improving QA review procedures.
• Collaborate with Financial Security, Sanctions, Audit, and Compliance teams.

Required Skills

• 45 years of relevant experience in KYC, Sanctions, Financial Security, Compliance Testing, or Audit/QA.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, KYC procedures, and Sanctions compliance.
• Experience in investigation reviews or Financial Security Quality Assurance.
• Knowledge of OFAC, EU, UN, or other applicable sanctions regulations is preferred.
• Familiarity with Actimize or other transaction monitoring and screening tools.
• Good analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple reviews and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized institution.
• Audit or finance-related qualifications.
• ACAMS or equivalent financial crime certification is an advantage.
