Role & Responsibilities

• Teach English as per the CBSE curriculum and prescribed syllabus.
• Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, literature, creative writing, and communication skills.
• Conduct regular tests, assignments, and examinations to assess student progress.
• Provide individual attention and remedial support to students who need improvement.
• Prepare students for CBSE board examinations through revision and practice sessions.
• Encourage reading habits, creative expression, public speaking, and classroom participation.
• Maintain academic records and communicate student progress to parents.
• Participate in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development programmes.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English from a recognised university.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred or required as applicable to the post and CBSE recruitment norms.
• Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school preferred.
• Strong command of English grammar, literature, vocabulary, and written communication.
• Excellent spoken English, pronunciation, and classroom communication skills.
• Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum, assessment methods, and competency-based learning.
• Ability to use interactive teaching methods and digital learning tools.
• Strong classroom management, student mentoring, and lesson-planning skills.
