ecommerce Finance manager

Key responsibilities

• Reconciliation: Match every marketplace settlement (Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Q-com, D2C) to orders and bank credits; flag short payments and wrong fees.
• Receivables: Own channel-wise receivables and ageing; follow up every overdue payment.
• Claims & returns: Recover money on returns, RTO, lost/damaged stock and excess fees.
• Books: Post all e-com entries in Odoo; bank recon and month-end close by the 7th.
• Tax: Reconcile GST, TCS and TDS; support monthly filings.
• MIS: Monthly channel and SKU P&L, plus ad-spend reconciliation.

Who we're looking for

Must have

• 47 years in accounts, with 2+ years doing hands-on marketplace reconciliation for an FMCG / D2C / consumer brand or an e-com accounting firm.
• Has worked directly on Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central and Flipkart Seller Hub payment and fee reports.
• Strong in GST, TCS (GSTR-8) and TDS (194-O) as they apply to e-commerce sellers.
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets: Pivots, XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Power Query — comfortable with 1 lakh+ row settlement files.
• Experience with an ERP (Odoo preferred; Tally / Zoho / SAP fine).
• Owns problems end to end and follows up with marketplace support until money is recovered.

Good to have

• Quick-commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) PO-to-payment experience.
• Meesho, Shopify / Razorpay / Cashfree payout reconciliation.
• Exposure to recon tools (e.g., Cointab, Easyecom, Unicommerce) or building automations in Sheets / Python.
• Kannada / Hindi / English.
