About The Team & Role

The Food Product team at Swiggy builds the products, platforms and capabilities that power growth across the three-sided marketplace - consumers, restaurant partners and Swiggy's operating ecosystem.

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead a broad portfolio of Food Product charters spanning across, Discounting, Pricing and Ads This is a senior leadership role for someone who can bring strategic clarity to a complex portfolio, build scalable products and develop a high-performing product organisation.

What Will You Get To Do Here

• Own the product strategy, vision and roadmap across a portfolio of Food Product charters, balancing customer experience, partner value, business growth and operational leverage.
• Bring clarity to the portfolio: define the role of each charter, establish priorities, create strong ownership models and ensure that teams are solving the highest-impact problems.
• Lead the evolution of supply- and restaurant-facing products that help partners grow their business on Swiggy, while creating sustainable value for consumers and the marketplace.
• Drive the next phase of monetization across Ads, discounting and adjacent products - going beyond short-term revenue to improve partner ROI, product quality and long-term marketplace health.
• Partner closely with Business, Operations, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Analytics and Finance to build integrated solutions across the three-sided marketplace.
• Build, lead and develop a strong team of Product Managers through hiring, coaching, feedback, performance management and career development.
  
  

What Qualities Are We Looking For

• 10 years of solid product management experience in consumer tech with 3 to 5 years of product management experience, ideally in discounting, pricing in e-commerce.
• Proven ability to build supply products from scratch and the vision to scale them fast, with relentless focus on quality and user experience. Prior experience in building and scaling marketplaces is preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, at senior leadership and CxO level. Ability to create and evangelize a long term Product Vision and roadmap which aligns with our broader business goals, and delivers real customer value.
• Strategy: Ensure that the product strategy is clearly articulated across the org., well understood and communicated, and progress towards it is tracked holistically
• Lead teams of Product Managers: Ensure we have the right mix of skills in our product teams via recruitment, performance management including coaching and development to ensure we are able to deliver real consumer value and scale business goals. VPs also influence and define ways of working for the broader product org at Swiggy.
