Job Description: Assistant Manager - Operations

Role overview
Were looking for a detail-oriented coordinator to manage purchase order creation and collaborate with the Technology and Product teams to improve related workflows and systems. This role will help ensure purchase orders are accurate, approved, processed on time, and aligned with business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review, and update purchase orders in the Unicommerce/Oracle systems
• Validate order details, including supplier information, item descriptions, quantities, pricing, delivery timelines, and approvals
• Track purchase orders from creation through fulfilment and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and suppliers
• Coordinate with Technology and Product teams to report system issues, share business requirements, and support workflow improvements.
• Participate in requirements discussions, user acceptance testing, and rollout of system changes.
• Maintain accurate purchase order records, trackers, and process documentation.
• Share regular updates on pending orders, exceptions, and process bottlenecks

Requirements

• 3 - 6 years of experience in supply chain, Operations/Ecommerce background preferred
• Experience in purchase order processing, procurement operations, supply chain, or business operations
• Clear communication and coordination skills across business, Product, and Technology teams, stakeholder management, ability to collaborate across functions
• Ability to track multiple requests, follow approval processes, and meet deadlines
• Experience with ERP, procurement, or order management systems is preferred
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including order management, invoicing, E-way bill compliance, and warehouse operations
• Proficiency in data analysis and problem-solving with a strong process-oriented
• skills in MS Excel and reporting tools; experience with dashboards and MIS reporting
• Working knowledge of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems
