Writer & Social Media Manager

We are looking for a Writer and Social Media Manager to work with our team on content for our brands unstumbled and unsobered.

The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in writing, news, and digital content, along with a good understanding of Instagram and YouTube. This role requires someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, create engaging content, and contribute to the growth and digital presence of our brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and publish engaging content, including news articles, features, and digital stories, across our platforms.
• Create engaging captions, headlines, video descriptions, and social media copy for Instagram and YouTube.
• Research trending topics, news, and relevant content ideas that align with the brands and their target audiences.
• Manage day-to-day content publishing and scheduling across Instagram, YouTube, and other relevant digital platforms.
• Work closely with the creative, video, and digital teams to develop content that is engaging and relevant to our audiences.
• Assist in identifying social media trends, formats, and content opportunities to improve audience engagement.
• Monitor content performance and engagement to understand what works and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in digital media, social media platforms, and content trends.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in writing, digital content, journalism, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to write news-oriented and engaging content.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress and SEO practices.
• Good understanding of Instagram and YouTube, including content formats, captions, video descriptions, and publishing requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• Strong research skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of digital audiences.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to social media strategy, content planning, and emerging trends.
