Workday HCM Functional Consultant and Security Consultant

Looking for an experienced Workday Core HCM & Security Consultant with strong functional knowledge of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), hands-on experience in Workday Security, and a good understanding of payroll processes. The ideal candidate should hold a valid Workday HCM certification and have experience supporting, configuring, and enhancing Workday HCM modules in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and support Workday Core HCM functionalities, including supervisory organizations, staffing, job profiles, business processes, and employee data management.
• Manage Workday security configurations, including security groups, domain security policies, business process security policies, and role-based access controls.
• Perform security administration, user access management, and periodic access reviews in line with organizational security and compliance requirements.
• Support Workday payroll processes, including payroll configuration, employee payroll data, payroll integrations, and troubleshooting payroll-related issues.
• Work with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and implement Workday HCM enhancements.
• Configure and maintain Workday business processes, notifications, approvals, and associated security permissions.
• Troubleshoot functional and security-related issues and provide timely resolution.
• Participate in Workday releases, regression testing, system upgrades, and change management activities.
• Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, and security-related process documents.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, data privacy requirements, and audit controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Workday Core HCM functional configuration and support.
• Experience in Workday Security Administration, including domain security policies, business process security policies, and security groups.
• Practical experience with Workday payroll processes and payroll-related functional support.
• Good understanding of HR business processes, employee lifecycle management, and organizational structures.
• Experience in business process configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
