Workday Finance Tester

We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Tester with strong expertise in Workday Financial Management testing, finance business processes, functional testing, and end-to-end validation.

Location : PAN INDIA

Notice Period: 15days/Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Workday Financial Management.
• Validate finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, Expenses, and Banking.
• Create and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Test Workday Finance business processes, workflows, approvals, validations, and security configurations.
• Validate financial transactions, accounting entries, journal postings, invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Perform integration testing for Workday Finance interfaces with third-party applications and external financial systems.
• Validate inbound and outbound integrations, EIBs, reports, and financial data loads.
• Conduct data migration testing and reconcile source-system data with Workday.
• Execute SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect retesting.
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools such as Jira or similar defect management systems.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and finance stakeholders.
• Support Workday release testing, enhancements, and production issue validation

Mandatory Skills

• Hands-on experience in Workday Financial Management testing.
• Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting fundamentals.
• Experience testing General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or other Workday Finance modules.
• Experience in functional testing, SIT, UAT, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Ability to prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
• Experience validating financial transactions, accounting data, and reconciliation results.
• Knowledge of Workday integrations, reports, and data migration testing.
• Experience in defect tracking, root-cause analysis, and defect lifecycle management.
