Wind Turbine Technician

Role & responsibilities :

Basic knowledge of Turbine Components, tools, and maintenance procedures.

Basic knowledge of the Hub, Nacelle, Tower, Generator, Gearbox, Main Bearing, Yaw System, Control Panel, Sensors, Turbine alarms & Torquing.

Exposure to Generator Alignment, Wind Vane Alignment & Blade calibration.

Basic knowledge of Slip Ring and Carbon Brush inspection, cleaning, and replacement.

Familiarity with Greasing and Lubrication of the Slewring, Yaw System, Main Bearing, and Generator Bearings.

Basic understanding of Control Panels, Relays, Contactors, Fuses, Circuit Breakers, and Electrical safety.

Strict compliance with PPE, WAH, LOTO, Electrical Safety, and site procedures.

Preferred candidate profile :

Minimum 1 Year of hands-on experience in wind turbine O&M. Practical exposure to PM and BD activities.
