Job Summary

We are looking for a WhatsApp & SMS Marketing Specialist to manage and grow our direct messaging channels. The candidate will plan, launch, and optimize campaigns including promotional broadcasts, automated customer journeys, and engagement campaigns to drive measurable revenue and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, create, launch, and optimize WhatsApp and SMS marketing campaigns.
• Manage promotional broadcasts, customer communications, and automated messaging journeys.
• Create customer segments and target audiences based on customer behaviour and campaign objectives.
• Write engaging, concise, and conversion-focused copy for WhatsApp and SMS campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize campaigns based on results.
• Work with the WhatsApp Business Platform/API and messaging/CRM tools.
• Coordinate with creative, content, sales, and marketing teams for campaign execution.
• Ensure campaigns follow opt-in requirements, messaging policies, compliance, and deliverability best practices.
• Track campaign metrics, conversions, engagement, and attribution.
• Maintain campaign dashboards, reports, and trackers using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and communication requirements simultaneously.
• Test different messages, audiences, offers, and campaign approaches to improve performance.
• Maintain proper records of campaigns, customer segments, and results.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–4 years of experience in CRM, mobile marketing, direct-response marketing, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with WhatsApp and/or SMS campaigns.
• Working knowledge of WhatsApp Business Platform/API.
• Experience with at least one messaging/CRM platform such as Bitespeed, Salesforce, WATI, Interakt, Twilio, Gupshup, MoEngage, WebEngage, CleverTap, Klaviyo, or similar tools.
• Strong short-form and conversion-focused copywriting skills.
• Good understanding of opt-in, compliance, deliverability, and messaging best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using dashboards and campaign reports.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and campaign attribution.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
