Wealth Manager - Alternative Investment Fund

About the Role:

We are looking for a Wealth Manager to drive fundraising and AUM mobilization through channel partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, evaluate and onboard Channel Partners (CPs), IFAs, MFDs, RIAs, boutique wealth firms and medium-sized wealth organisations.

- Build and manage a strong partner pipeline across Mumbai and key metro markets.

- Own the complete partner onboarding process including empanelment, KYC, compliance registration and product training.

- Drive fundraising and AUM mobilisation through multiple distribution channels and consistently achieve targets.

- Manage the complete fundraising lifecycle from partner engagement and product presentations to investor conversion, documentation and closure.

- Build strong relationships with principals and senior relationship managers of boutique and medium-sized wealth firms.

- Conduct product presentations, portfolio review meetings and joint client engagement initiatives.

- Own relationships with active CP, IFA, MFD and RIA networks and drive partner productivity.

- Re-activate dormant partners through targeted engagement and incentive programmes.

- Track key partner metrics such as activation rate, AUM per partner and mobilisation velocity.

- Organise partner meetings, roadshows, webinars and other channel engagement initiatives.

- Develop partner-facing content including product decks, factsheets, performance summaries and market commentary.

- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, AMFI guidelines and internal compliance requirements.

- Coordinate with Finance on commission payouts, trail income statements and brokerage reports.

- Maintain accurate partner and pipeline records and provide regular fundraising forecasts.

Candidate Requirements:

- Postgraduate degree in Finance, MBA, Business Administration or a related discipline.

- 8 - 10 years of experience in channel fundraising, alternative investment distribution or financial services business development.

- Demonstrated and measurable AUM mobilisation track record through CP, IFA, MFD and/or RIA channels.

- Strong existing network among CPs, IFAs, MFDs, RIAs and wealth management firms in Mumbai.

- Experience engaging with boutique and medium-sized wealth firm principals and senior teams.

- Experience in distributing AIF, PMS, structured debt or real estate investment products will be preferred.

- NISM Series V-A, NISM XXI-A, CFA, CFP or AMFI registration will be an advantage.

- Strong understanding of channel partner economics, product recommendation and distribution models.

- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

- Strong commercial orientation with the ability to explain complex investment products in a clear manner.

- Ability to independently manage a large partner portfolio in a target-driven environment.

- CRM proficiency; Zoho experience is an advantage.
