Walk-in || POS / EDC Machine Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented POS / EDC Machine Sales Executive responsible for acquiring new merchants by promoting and selling POS (Point of Sale) and EDC (Electronic Data Capture) machines. The candidate will be required to visit retail shops, business establishments, and other merchants to explain product benefits, generate leads, onboard merchants, and achieve assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Visit retail shops, supermarkets, restaurants, medical stores, petrol pumps, and other business establishments to promote POS/EDC machines.
2. Identify and acquire new merchants for POS machine installations.
3. Explain product features, benefits, transaction charges, rental plans, and payment solutions to merchants.
4. Generate leads through field visits, references, and market activities.
5. Convince merchants to adopt digital payment solutions and POS machines.
6. Complete merchant onboarding, KYC documentation, and application formalities.
7. Coordinate with the operations team for POS machine installation and activation.
8. Maintain regular follow-ups with merchants to convert potential leads into business.
9. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and merchant acquisition targets.
10. Maintain daily field visit reports and sales MIS.
11. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing merchants.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 6 months to 2 years of experience in field sales.
• Experience in POS/EDC machine sales, merchant acquisition, QR code sales, payment solutions, or banking sales will be preferred.
• Good communication and convincing skills.
• Ability to approach and onboard new merchants.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Target-oriented and self-motivated.
