Job Summary:

Cognizant is hiring experienced professionals for SME roles within US Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Operations. We are looking for candidates with strong expertise in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Insurance Broking Operations, Policy Servicing, QA/QC, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a domain expert across multiple P&C Insurance processes including Quote Review, Policy Servicing, Endorsements, Renewals, Client Setup, Premium Financing, and Program Brokering.
• Review complex submissions, quotes, binders, endorsements, billing issues, and customer escalations.
• Conduct quality audits, identify defects, and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, job aids, workflows, and quality frameworks.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Underwriters, Carriers, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex cases.
• Provide floor support, coaching, knowledge sharing, and mentoring to team members.
• Drive operational excellence, productivity, quality, and compliance metrics.
• Support transition, migration, and process stabilization projects.
• For leadership roles (TL/TM), manage team performance, stakeholder communication, workforce planning, and client expectations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4yrs to 6 yrs of experience in P&C Insurance / Insurance Broking Operations.
• Strong expertise in Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, QA/QC, Policy Servicing, Endorsements, Renewals, and Insurance Documentation.
• Good understanding of ACORD Forms, Evidence of Coverage, Policy Lifecycle, and US Insurance Regulations.
• Experience in handling complex insurance transactions and client-servicing activities.
• Exposure to process transitions, migrations, or standardization projects is preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
