Key Responsibilities :

• Define and govern application architecture for Java/Spring Boot and Microservices-based applications under the Project engagement.
  • Assess existing applications and recommend architecture improvements, modernization and migration approaches.
  • Define architecture standards for Microservices, APIs, integrations, databases, security and application scalability.
  • Provide technical leadership and architecture guidance for application development, enhancements and modernization initiatives.
  • Review application designs and ensure compliance with approved architecture standards and non-functional requirements.
  • Guide development teams on performance, scalability, availability, security and maintainability.
  • Work with Solution Architects, DevSecOps, database and development teams to ensure effective end-to-end application architecture.
  • Support resolution of complex application architecture and production issues.
  • Prepare and maintain application architecture, technical design and governance documentation.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software architecture and enterprise application development.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Extensive experience designing Microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, design patterns, and domain-driven design.
• Expertise in REST APIs, API gateways, OAuth2/OIDC, and enterprise integration.
• Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming/messaging platforms.
• Strong database knowledge across relational and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of observability platforms, including metrics, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Strong understanding of application and cloud security.
• Excellent architecture documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Education : B.E./B. Tech/M. Tech/MCA /M.Sc only
