About this role
Location: Pan India. Work mode: work from office, hybrid or work from home, based on role and location.
We are hiring a VoIP Support Engineer to keep our calling platform running.
Role and responsibilities:
- Fix live call problems such as no audio, one-way audio, call drops and registration failures.
- Check SIP and RTP traffic using Wireshark or sngrep.
- Set up, monitor and maintain FreeSWITCH, Kamailio and Asterisk servers.
- Support customers and the team on VoIP issues.
Preferred candidate profile:
- 2 to 6 years of experience in VoIP support or engineering.
- Must have: FreeSWITCH, Kamailio and Asterisk.
- Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu or Debian).
- SIP and RTP troubleshooting.
- Basic scripting in Bash or Python.
- Good to have: OpenSIPS, RTPengine, Docker, VMware or Proxmox, MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Not suitable: desktop support, general NOC, or networking-only profiles.
