Position - Visual Merchandising (Designer & Execution)

Role Overview

The Visual Merchandising Designer, with 6+ years of relevant experience, is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing impactful visual merchandising solutions that enhance the customer experience and strengthen brand identity across retail stores. The role focuses on creating innovative window displays, seasonal and campaign launches, developing new VM concepts, and driving the end-to-end execution of designs across stores, ensuring they are implemented accurately, consistently, and within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design compelling window displays and visual merchandising concepts that align with the brand's identity and seasonal campaigns.
• Conceptualize and develop creative VM themes for product launches, festive campaigns, and brand initiatives.
• Create innovative and engaging in-store display solutions that drive customer engagement and sales.
• Develop detailed VM guidelines, design layouts, execution plans, and implementation manuals for store teams.
• Own the end-to-end execution of VM concepts, from initial design and material planning to production, installation, and final store implementation.
• Translate creative concepts into practical, executable solutions while considering store layouts, materials, budgets, timelines, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Buying, Retail Operations, Project/Execution teams, and Store Teams to ensure seamless rollout of campaigns.
• Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and production partners to ensure designs are executed accurately and maintain the desired quality standards.
• Vendor Management & Costing: Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills, with knowledge of quotations, costing, budgeting, material sourcing, and cost control for VM projects.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor execution, assess VM quality, identify gaps, and ensure adherence to approved designs and brand standards.
• Troubleshoot on-ground execution challenges and provide practical design solutions to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Ensure consistency of VM execution across all stores while adapting designs based on store formats and space constraints.
• Monitor project timelines and proactively coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely execution and campaign launches.
• Stay updated on global retail trends, materials, fabrication techniques, and design innovations to continuously introduce fresh ideas into the VM strategy.
• Manage multiple VM projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery from concept to execution.
