Role Description The Visa Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. The person in this position will guide clients through visa and migration processes, including assessing eligibility, explaining documentation requirements, and supporting application preparation. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, reviewing client documents, coordinating with internal teams and Registered Migration Agents, and maintaining accurate records in company systems. The Visa Counsellor will also provide updates on application status, respond to client queries, and ensure that all activities comply with relevant regulations and internal quality standards. The role involves proactive communication, clear guidance, and a client-focused approach to help individuals and families navigate their migration journey with confidence.
Qualifications

• Strong client service skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal); proficiency in additional regional or international languages is an advantage.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases, track deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Attention to detail and basic analytical skills to review documents, identify discrepancies, and support compliant, high-quality visa applications.
• Comfort with digital tools and CRM or case-management software, as well as standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, document editors).
• Previous experience in visa counselling, immigration services, international education, or a related advisory role is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment and demonstrate integrity, discretion, and respect for client confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is preferred; relevant certifications or training in immigration, counselling, or international education are beneficial.
