About the Role

We're looking for a Video Editor – Social Media & Marketing who can turn raw footage and ideas into engaging, high-retention content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, ads, and campaigns.

You'll work closely with our Social Media, Content, Design, and Marketing teams to create videos that stop the scroll, tell a story, and drive engagement.

What You'll Do

• Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, social media, ads, and promotional videos.
• Create strong hooks in the first 1–3 seconds.
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, music, SFX, and B-roll.
• Edit trainer/personality-led content and repurpose long-form videos into Shorts/Reels.
• Create multiple versions of content for different platforms.
• Experiment with trending editing styles while maintaining Skillinabox's brand.
• Manage multiple edits, revisions, and short TATs.
• Collaborate with the Social Media and Marketing teams.

What We're Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience or a strong portfolio.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of After Effects.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, retention, and social media trends.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines.
• A let's make it happen attitude with the ability to experiment and take ownership.

Compensation & Benefits

• 3 LPA – 3.6 LPA Fixed + ESOPs
• Fast appraisal cycle: 6–10 months
