Job Description

Patronus Marketing is looking for a Video Editor who will assist at editing videos for various clients. As a key member of the production team, the successful candidate for the Video Editor brings both skill and creativity to the table, coordinating with Social Media Manager to produce unique, exciting stories, and video content that stand out from the competition.

Responsibilities:

● Edit videos to efficiently tell the story

● Initiate productive interactions with coworkers and together complete the expected assignments based upon timelines and predetermined guidelines

● Perform well under high demand, strict timelines and/or immediately with little supervision

● Operate a wide range of video assignments. Organization, efficiency, and planning skills are required

● Conduct quality control and corrective actions to ensure accuracy and quality

● As necessary, participate in team based projects and contribute recommendations towards departmental objectives

Basic Qualifications:

● A minimum of 2-3 years of editing videos experience

● Keen to work in a fast-paced environment that requires quick turnaround edits

● Comfortable working with supervision

● Should be well versed with Generative AI Platforms

● Demonstrates solid knowledge of Adobe applications, as well as social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.

● Showcases sound communication with timely follow up and problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

● A minimum of 2-3 years of editing or related experience in a professional environment.

● Proficiency with:

• Adobe Applications (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator,)
• Generative AI
• G Suite Applications (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts, Drive, and Gmail)
