Video Editor

We're looking for someone who loves editing videos and wants to get significantly better at it.

Most of the work will initially involve short-form social content—Reels, Shorts, ads, promotional videos, product content and brand videos.

We'll provide references and benchmarks for the kind of quality we're trying to achieve.

You don't have to already be at that level.

What matters is whether you can study something, understand how it works, learn and improve until you can produce it yourself.

What matters to us

Good pacing.

Good storytelling.

Knowing when to cut.

Understanding hooks and retention.

Using music and sound properly.

Clean subtitles.

Good B-roll choices.

Basic colour correction.

And most importantly, being willing to learn.

We don't want effects added simply because the software has them.

Software

We generally work with or prefer:

DaVinci Resolve

CapCut

Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects

But software isn't how we'll select you.

Your portfolio is.

Portfolio required

You can submit professional work, freelance work, personal projects or content you've created while learning.

If we can see potential, we're interested.

Shortlisted applicants may receive a small editing task. Anything created during the recruitment evaluation will remain an evaluation-only submission and will not be commercially published by EYB.
