Role Description The Video Editor role at Northscroll is a full-time, hybrid position based in Jammu, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Video Editor will assist in shoot, edit and assemble video content for social media, ads, and brand campaigns, ensuring that each piece aligns with creative briefs and performance goals. Daily responsibilities include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color grading, and collaborating with designers and copywriters to create cohesive visual narratives. The role also involves incorporating motion graphics, adapting videos for different platforms and formats, and maintaining a consistent brand style across projects. The Video Editor is expected to manage timelines, respond to feedback constructively, and contribute ideas to enhance the quality and impact of video content.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience creating content for social and performance marketing.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and quality across all video outputs.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to design engaging titles, overlays, and animated elements that enhance storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar) is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling abilities, and an understanding of social media formats and trends are beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a creative team, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
