Video Editor

Role Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to produce high-quality video content for corporate communications, events, marketing initiatives, and digital platforms.The candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished videos while maintaining strong visual storytelling, audio quality, brand consistency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage into professional and engaging videos for corporate, event, promotional, and digital content.

- Add music, voice-overs, captions, graphics, transitions, animations, and sound effects as required.

- Collaborate with the team to understand briefs and project objectives.

- Review scripts, storyboards, and shot lists and translate them into effective visual narratives.

- Perform color correction, basic color grading, audio enhancement, and sound balancing.

- Organize project files, maintain archives, and manage different versions of video projects.

- Ensure final videos follow brand guidelines, copyright requirements, and platform specifications.

- Incorporate feedback and deliver projects within defined timelines.

- Stay updated with current video-editing tools, trends, and digital storytelling techniques.

Required Skills & Competencies Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.

Familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator is preferred.

Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, video formats, compression, and export settings.

Creative Skills:

Strong sense of timing, pacing, composition, and visual storytelling.

Good understanding of cinematography and design aesthetics.

Ability to translate concepts and scripts into compelling visual content.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Attention to detail and good organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and techniques.

Experience:
