Kumqwat (formerly LocoTrails) | [Coimbatore / Hybrid] | Full-time

About us

Kumqwat designs fully bespoke travel experiences: 400–500 custom trips a year across 60+ destinations, each built around the person, not the place. We're now building two Instagram pages that reinvent how travel is shown online: the Kumqwat brand page and our founder's personal page.

The role

We don't sell destinations. We tell travel stories that go deeper. You'll turn quirky, unexpected ideas into videos people haven't seen before, from imagining how famous brands would go on trips (built entirely with AI) to sales calls, podcast moments, and behind-the-scenes from the founder's world.

We're looking for someone who takes an idea and makes it better, not someone who waits for instructions.

What you'll do

• Edit short-form video for both pages, with sharp hooks, pacing, and retention
• Create AI-generated visuals and video for our Brands on Trips series
• Turn sit-down shoots, sales calls, and podcast footage into stories worth watching
• Experiment with styles, formats, transitions, and sound
• Own your work end to end, working closely with our Social Media & Content lead

What you bring

• A portfolio of creative edits that show your own style
• Hands-on experience with AI video and image tools
• A strong sense of storytelling, timing, and sound
• An instinct for what makes people stop scrolling
• Ownership: you pitch ideas, not just execute them

What you get

• Creative freedom on a project that's reinventing travel content
• Your work on two fast-growing pages from day one
• A team that wants your ideas
• Competitive pay
