Role Description The Video Editor role at Ascolite is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished videos for marketing, product demonstrations, training, and social media content. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, sound, and graphics, and ensuring consistent visual style aligned with brand guidelines. The role will involve collaborating with marketing and product teams to understand briefs, storyboard concepts, and deliver videos within deadlines. The Video Editor will also optimize video formats for various digital platforms and maintain an organized media library.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating high-quality visual content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual tone.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and branding.
• Experience with industry-standard editing and motion tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or similar).
• Understanding of digital and social media video formats, aspect ratios, and best practices.
• Attention to detail, strong sense of visual aesthetics, and ability to follow brand guidelines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in Surat with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
