Video Editor

SOCX Media is looking for a Video Editor who can independently handle content from shooting to final delivery.

Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality Reels, short-form videos, interviews, podcasts and brand content
• Operate cameras and manage framing, focus, exposure, composition and camera settings
• Set up and handle lights, tripods, microphones and basic audio equipment
• Plan shots, angles and B-roll based on the content requirement
• Edit raw footage into engaging, platform-ready videos for Instagram, YouTube and other social platforms
• Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, motion graphics and basic color correction
• Create multiple edits/formats from the same shoot when required
• Organize and manage raw footage, project files and final exports
• Work with the content team to understand briefs and execute the required visual style
• Ensure videos are delivered on time and ready for publishing
  

Requirements

• Proven video editing experience
• Hands-on camera operation experience is mandatory
• Good understanding of lighting, audio, framing and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar
• Strong sense of pacing and social-media content trends
• Ability to independently manage both shooting + editing
