Purpose The Consultant II within Lean Process Engineering in Capability and Delivery, Operational Excellence work across a range of activities that bring Process Transformation, Enterprise Workflow and Intelligent Automation solutions to life for our customers. Leveraging new ways of working, the Consultant II will apply lean thinking together with enterprise methodologies, tools and standards to lead the identification, scoping and delivery of optimised solutions that will maximise customer and business value. The Consultant II will partner with a cross functional team as applicable to deliver operational excellence initiatives (e.g., process re-engineering, intelligent automation, workflow) to drive positive & sustainable business impact across the enterprise. Usually working in a delivery squad, the Consultant II will be expected to lead and/or work closely with the squad members to ensure that the solutions are successfully delivered into the Business within agreed timeframes. The Consultant II is also expected to support and coach other team members as required.   Essential capabilities Sharp Stakeholder Management Agile Approach & Delivery Project Management Comfortable Conducting and Facilitating Workshops Strong Leadership Skills (e.g. Working in Ambiguous Situations) Data driven (comfortable with analysing large and complex data sets) Other capabilities Excellence communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Being an active listener Comfortable working & collaborating in a team environment Being curious Being resilient and adaptable   Experience Leading & Delivering Large Transformation Projects  within Financial Services or similar industry Strong demonstrated experience leading & delivering Business Improvement projects Demonstrated experience leading squads/project teams Agile Delivery Experience (preferred)   Qualification Requirements Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Engineering or related field Project Management (preferred)   Key Accountability Work flexibly across a range of activities that need to take place in order to take solutions from “idea” stage to a delivered business solution. These include: Working with stakeholders from across the Business to understand and qualify the problem statement Critically reviewing current business process, and influencing stakeholders when creating future state process designs to ensure that these are optimised for efficiency Leading medium to large size initiatives in a squad or project team. Conducting workshops where necessary to assess current state Identifying areas of improvement/transformation and making recommendations to Program Director/Business Sponsor Engaging stakeholders and providing initiative walkthroughs to obtain signoffs for delivery i.e. Solution Design and Benefits Developing and executing the delivery plan including change activities (GRACE record etc.) Supporting the OE vision to uplift capability through coaching, training participation and/or mentorship   A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone: Our goal is to foster a culture that fills us with pride, rooted in trust and respect.
