Vice President of Capital Formation

Role Description The Vice President of Capital Formation is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading fundraising activities for Panthera. This role involves developing and executing capital formation strategies, including identifying and engaging with institutional investors, family offices, and other potential capital providers across domestic and global markets. The Vice President will prepare and refine fund marketing materials, investor presentations, and due diligence documents, and will coordinate the end-to-end fundraising process from initial outreach through closing. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing investor pipelines, maintaining CRM and reporting, organizing roadshows and investor meetings, and providing regular portfolio and fund performance updates.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in private equity, growth equity, or venture capital fundraising, with a track record of successfully raising capital from institutional investors and family offices.
• Excellent skills in investor relations, relationship management, and stakeholder communication, with the ability to build and sustain long-term partnerships.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate investment strategies and market insights in a concise manner.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, including managing multiple fundraising workstreams, deadlines, and cross-functional coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in an investor-facing role at a PE/VC firm, investment bank, asset manager, or similar institution
