About the role:

We run fundraising mandates for Indian growth-stage and pre-IPO companies, including our own portfolio companies. We are hiring a senior professional to own these mandates end to end: understanding the business, structuring the deal and making it investable, building the materials, taking it to investors, and closing. The role is output-driven and measured on capital actually raised, not meetings held.

What you will do:

- Own the business case: build a deep understanding of each company's model, financials, competition, promoters, valuation and risks, well enough to defend it independently in front of sophisticated investors.

- Structure the transaction: recommend valuation, raise size, and instrument mix (primary/secondary equity, CCPS, debentures, convertibles), along with investor rights, downside protection and exit mechanisms.

- Test the market: run confidential soft soundings with family offices, funds and wealth managers on valuation, ticket sizes and objections, then feed the results back into the terms.

- Build the materials: lead the teaser, Information Memorandum, financial model, comparables, investor presentation, FAQs and data room.

- Run the raise to close: prioritise investors by mandate and ticket size, manage meetings and diligence, handle objections, and drive commitments through documentation and funding.

- Grow the network: deepen relationships with family offices, HNIs/UHNIs, PE funds, AIFs, PMS managers, wealth managers and strategic investors.

What we are looking for:

- 8 - 15 years across investment banking, private equity, VC, family office, wealth management or corporate finance, with a demonstrable record of closing private capital raises.

- An active, credible network of investors who write between 1cr - 25cr cheques.

- Strong financial modelling, valuation and deal-structuring skills, plus a working knowledge of private placement norms under the Companies Act, 2013 and relevant SEBI regulations.

- Ability to write and present an investment thesis that holds up under scrutiny.

- An MBA or CA is preferred; track record matters more.
