User Experience Designer

Role Description The User Experience Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible user journeys across Goertrip's web and mobile platforms. This full-time on-site role, based in New Delhi, will involve conducting user research, defining user requirements, and applying design thinking to solve complex travel-booking problems. Day-to-day tasks include creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces, collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders. The designer will analyze user behavior and feedback, iterate on designs, and ensure consistency with brand guidelines. The role also includes participating in design reviews, maintaining design documentation, and contributing to a user-centered product roadmap.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong User Experience (UX) and Design Thinking skills to create user-centered solutions.
• Candidates should possess User Research skills, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and data analysis.
• Candidates should possess Visual Design skills with proficiency in layout, typography, color, and design systems.
• Candidates should possess Prototyping skills using modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD,React JS UI).
• Relevant experience in designing web and mobile interfaces, preferably in travel, e-commerce, or consumer-facing products.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate design decisions clearly, and incorporate feedback effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and basic front-end capabilities is beneficial.
