Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong track record of leading large-scale SAP programs and managed services engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex SAP initiatives, including global implementations, rollouts, S/4HANA transformations, upgrades, AMS engagements, and multi-vendor delivery models. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, governance, financial management, and delivery excellence across geographically distributed teams.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Portfolio Leadership

• Lead large-scale SAP engagements, including:
• SAP implementations and greenfield deployments
• Global rollouts and template deployments
• SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
• SAP AMS and support engagements
• SAP upgrades, migrations, and optimization initiatives
• Manage multiple workstreams, projects, and service towers within a program portfolio.
• Drive successful delivery while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budget, and quality standards.

Delivery Governance

• Establish and manage program governance frameworks, steering committees, and executive reviews.
• Define KPIs, milestones, risks, dependencies, and success criteria.
• Ensure adherence to delivery methodologies, organizational standards, and compliance requirements.

Stakeholder & Executive Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, customer leadership, and business sponsors.
• Build trusted relationships with client leadership teams and guide strategic decision-making.
• Present program health, financials, risks, and transformation roadmaps to senior management.

SAP Transformation & Rollouts

• Lead regional and global SAP rollouts, ensuring standardization and adoption of global templates.
• Manage business process harmonization, change management, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Oversee transition from implementation to steady-state support and operations.

AMS & Service Delivery Management

• Govern SAP AMS engagements and ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Manage incident, problem, change, release, and service request processes.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and service quality.

Financial & Commercial Management

• Own program P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage contracts, scope changes, resource utilization, and profitability targets.
• Identify opportunities for account growth, service expansion, and value realization.

Risk & Escalation Management

• Proactively identify program and operational risks.
• Drive mitigation planning and resolution of critical escalations.
• Ensure business continuity and delivery stability during program transitions and major releases.

Leadership & People Management

• Lead large cross-functional teams comprising project managers, SAP functional consultants, technical architects, Basis teams, AMS teams, and third-party vendors.
• Mentor delivery managers and project leads.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 15+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years in Program Management or Delivery Leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing large SAP engagements valued at multi-million dollars.
• Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
• SAP global rollout programs
• SAP implementation programs
• SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives
• SAP AMS/service delivery engagements
• SAP upgrade and migration programs
• Experience leading globally distributed teams across multiple geographies.
• Strong experience managing customer-facing delivery and executive stakeholders.

SAP Expertise

• Strong understanding of SAP landscapes and business processes across modules (at least 1) such as:
• SAP S/4HANA
• FICO
• MM
• SD
• PP
• QM
• EWM/WM
• SuccessFactors
• Ariba
• Basis and Integration technologies
• Understanding of SAP implementation lifecycle, rollout methodology, Hypercare, AMS operations, and transition management.
