Role & responsibilities

• Build, maintain and update MIS dashboards in Google Sheets that capture key metrics (projects, valuations, revenues, clients, timelines, etc.).
• Develop automated or semi-automated processes (e.g., use of formulas, pivot-tables, macros/scripts in Google Apps Script) to minimize manual intervention and reduce errors in data-reporting.
• Collect data from various internal departments (operations, finance, sales, asset-resolution etc.), validate it for accuracy and integrity, and integrate it into MIS reports.
• Work with the team to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for different functions and convert them into measurable metrics in the MIS framework.
• Provide regular (daily/weekly/monthly) reports to senior-management: highlight trends, variances, potential issues and opportunities.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested (for example: client-segmentation, project-type analysis, region-wise trends, cost vs timeline, asset-resolution metrics).
• Ensure version-control, structured folder-systems, access control, data-security and documentation for MIS file-systems.
• Support the finance & operations team with data-requests, reconciliations and maintaining historical data-archives for reference.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Commerce, Data Analytics or related field.
• Proven hands-on experience (13 years) working with Google Sheetscomfortable with advanced features (conditional formatting, pivot-tables, array formulas, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, query functions, Google Apps Script, etc.), merging of datasheets.
• Strong logical-thinking, analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills: ability to translate raw data into meaningful and easy-to-understand insights/reports for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable working with large-datasets, able to spot anomalies, inconsistencies and proactively follow-up with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is a plus; familiarity with Google Data Studio, Big Query or other BI tools is an advantage.
• High integrity and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial or client data.
