Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior UI Developer to build intuitive, high-performance interfaces for AI-powered applications delivered on the ServiceNow platform. You will design and develop the user experiences that let people configure, monitor, guide, and trust AI agents, working closely with ServiceNow architects, UX designers, and AI/ML teams. Prior ServiceNow experience is not required; we are looking for strong UI engineers who are eager to learn the platform and apply their front-end expertise to it.

Key Responsibilities

Build scalable, responsive user interfaces for web and mobile using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Lit.
Develop reusable UI components and Web Components that can be adapted for use within ServiceNow’s Next Experience UI and Workspaces.
Build AI-facing experiences such as agent configuration dashboards, real-time agent activity views, and explainability surfaces that help users understand, supervise, and intervene in AI-driven decisions.
Integrate with RESTful APIs and handle real-time and streaming data from LLMs, computer vision endpoints, and predictive models.
Build supporting services or middleware using Node.js where needed.
Translate UX wireframes into interactive prototypes and production-ready interfaces, ensuring technical feasibility and high performance.
Learn and apply ServiceNow UI development tools (such as UI Builder and the Next Experience component framework) with support from senior platform team members.
Apply inclusive design practices and ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

Required Skills and Experience

5–8 years of hands-on front-end/UI development experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3; working knowledge of TypeScript.
Solid experience with at least two of: React, Angular, AngularJS, Lit / Web Components.
Working experience with Node.js.
Practical experience building UIs for Agentic AI or GenAI applications, such as chat or copilot interfaces, agent workflows, LLM integrations, or human-in-the-loop review screens.
Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous and streaming data.
Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
Familiarity with front-end testing and build tools, Git, and CI/CD practices.
Willingness and ability to learn the ServiceNow platform quickly.
