Textile Designer

Role & responsibilities

1. Develop new fabric designs and constructions.

2. Prepare weave designs and CADS.

3. Coordination with weaving, dyeing, sampling and production teams. 4. Analyse fabric constructions, GSM, yarn counts and weave patterns. 5. Handle production development from concept to sample approval.

6. Coordination with merchandising and marketing teams for new developments.

7. Ensure timely completion of sampling and maintain development records.

Preferred candidate profile

Male candidates preferred.

Qualification: B. Tech/Diploma in textile technology or textile design. Work Experience 2-3 Years

Technical / Soft Skills required

1. Good knowledge of woven fabrics, especially yarn dyed and corduroy fabrics.

2. Understanding of fabrics, constructions, gsm, yarn counts and weave designs.

3. Back knowledge of textile testing and quality parameters.
