Test Manager

Job Summary

Own the quality of our LAP product line across LOS and LMS. You will lead the testing team, set the automation direction, and decide when a release is fit for Production.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and appraise Senior and Junior testers; plan capacity against sprint and release commitments.
• Own sprint test delivery and escalate risks and dependencies early to delivery and business leadership.
• Design the master regression automation strategy (UI, API, DB) and embed it in CI/CD pipelines.
• Chair defect triage with Product, Development and Business; drive root-cause analysis and prevention.
• Act as primary gatekeeper for Production deployments: own go/no-go, release readiness and post-deployment verification.
• Define and publish QA metrics: defect leakage, test coverage and defect density.
• Set test governance and standards for audit-readiness on RBI-regulated flows.

Must-Haves

• 8+ years in QA, 3+ years leading teams, in Indian lending (LAP preferred)
• Hands-on exposure to Finone, Finnaxia, Nucleus, Pennant, Lentra or similar LOS/LMS
• Strong grasp of the LAP lifecycle, NACH/e-Mandate flows and RBI digital lending norms
• Proven automation strategy and CI/CD experience

Good-to-Haves

• Jenkins/GitLab, Jira/Confluence, SQL, Selenium / RestAssured / Playwright / Cypress

Scope Boundary

• Does not own day-to-day case execution or scenario design; that sits with the team.
