Telecom Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead complex Oracle Telecom product implementation projects for a demanding client in the telecommunications industry. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in managing large-scale projects with significant scope creep and challenging client dynamics. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Oracle's telecom product of BSS/OSS products/RODOD and manage client expectations in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:
• PMP certification is a must.
• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of Oracle telecom product implementations, from project initiation and planning through execution, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Project planning and tracking: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and delivery risk mitigation strategies.
• Change control management process: Establish change management process and proactively identify and manage project scope creep, ensuring clear communication and buy-in from all stakeholders for CRs implementation.
• Stakeholder management (Internal and External) : Build strong relationships with internal teams (technical, development, operations) and external stakeholders (client, vendors) to ensure seamless collaboration and project delivery.
• Team leading skills: Foster a positive and high-performing project team environment, providing clear direction, motivation, and coaching to team members.
• Risks and Issues Management : Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain project RAID log.
• Status reporting : Prepare and deliver clear and concise project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Communication skills : Maintain strong and transparent communication with the client, proactively managing expectations and addressing concerns effectively.

• Milestones and financials management: Manage project budgets and resources effectively, ensuring project deliverables are met within budget and set timelines as per the project plan.
  

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
• Relevant project management experience of minimum 8+ years as a Project Manager, preferably within the Telecommunications industry leading E2E telecom monetization transformation projects.
• Proven experience in managing complex Oracle telecom product implementations projects (BSS/OSS) preferably Oracle solution stack involving BRM, PDC, ECE, OCOMC, OC3C, OSM, UIM, ASAP etc.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Iterative etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage client expectations in challenging situations and navigate scope creep effectively.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and communication tools (e.g., MS Office Suite).
