Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical teams to deliver new features and enhance existing products.
• Establish and enforce architectural and engineering standards/processes.
• Drive performance analysis, optimization, and system scalability.
• Own the hiring plan for engineering sources, screen, interview, and onboard top talent.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless end-user experience.
• Champion adoption of new technologies and best development practices.
• Mentor, coach, and grow engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and high performance.
• Drive system design discussions for new and existing applications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years' experience in backend/product engineering management at startups or high-growth organizations.
• Proven experience designing and building systems from scratch.
• Hands-on expertise with Python and Django.
• Strong background in system design, scalable architecture, and building high-availability distributed systems.
• Deep experience in scaling backend services and optimizing for low latency.
• Solid understanding and real-world application of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and problem-solving.
• Prior leadership/mentorship experience; ability to grow and motivate teams.
• Ability to drive a high-performance culture and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
