Technical Lead - AI Engineering (GenAI / LLM / RAG)

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to build and deliver production-grade AI applications. The ideal candidate should have strong Python development skills, practical experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG and AI agents, and the ability to lead engineers and own end-to-end technical delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deploy scalable AI applications.
• Lead GenAI and LLM-based engineering initiatives from requirements to production.
• Review code, mentor engineers and maintain engineering standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, resolve technical blockers and support production issues.
• Improve AI application accuracy, performance, scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building GenAI applications using LLMs and RAG.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
• Strong experience developing APIs and microservices using FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience deploying and maintaining production AI applications.
• Technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring and end-to-end delivery ownership.

Good to Have:

• Agentic AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Vector databases, embeddings and prompt engineering.
• Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD and AWS or other cloud platforms.
• LLM evaluation, guardrails, observability and LLMOps/MLOps.
