Team Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and development of rotating machines and large industrial motors.
• Lead and mentor the mechanical design team and ensure timely completion of engineering projects.
• Perform and review engineering calculations for mechanical components and assemblies.
• Drive design optimization, standardization, cost reduction, and design improvements.
• Ensure designs meet applicable IEC, NEMA, API, ISO, and other industry standards.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, Production, and other cross-functional teams.
• Resolve design and manufacturing issues through root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
• Review and finalize 2D drawings, 3D models, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and manufacturing requirements.
• Ensure product designs meet required standards of quality, reliability, manufacturability, and performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of relevant experience in rotating machines.
• Strong expertise in induction motors, synchronous motors, and large industrial motors.
• Experience in rotating machine mechanical design, components, and assemblies.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
