Work you'll do

As a Senior - Legal Entity Management on the Legal Business Services team, you will be responsible for supporting legal entity management and corporate secretarial services for large and complex organizations.

• Support the formation, maintenance, dissolution, and ongoing compliance of legal entities, including annual meetings, appointment of directors and officers, powers of attorney, written consents, annual reports, and document preparation.
• Review governance structures, corporate changes, legal entity simplification activities, and event-driven changes across the lifecycle of legal entities.
• Maintain legal entity data and compliance workflows using platforms such as HighQ, Diligent Entities, and Athennian, including entity profiles, ownership structures, compliance calendars, and stakeholder reporting.
• Support Board of Directors and stockholders meeting planning and documentation, including corporate records, minute books, board resolutions, and public notary coordination.
• Assist with engagement delivery activities, including document collection, data entry, tracking, document review, proposal support, research, and identification of process improvement opportunities within Legal Entity Management engagements.
  
  

The team

Legal Business Services is a service line within Deloitte Tax in India that works closely with other Deloitte businesses, including Deloitte Advisory and Deloitte Consulting. The team supports multinational organizations with day-to-day and event-driven legal business services needs across a multidisciplinary environment. Deloitte brings global perspective, market knowledge, and experience helping clients navigate complex cross-border issues.

Location: Hyderabad or Pune

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST

Qualifications

Required:

• Company Secretary qualification
• 5-8 years of experience in legal entity management, corporate secretarial services, or alternative legal services
• Experience supporting legal entity formation, maintenance, dissolution, and annual compliance activities
• Experience reviewing governance structures, corporate changes, and legal entity lifecycle events
• Experience using legal entity management platforms such as HighQ, Diligent Entities, or Athennian
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Power BI, and Tableau
• Familiarity with commercial agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, and master service agreements
  
  

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB)
• Experience supporting United States legal entity management services
• Experience preparing materials for Board of Directors and stockholders meetings
• Experience with corporate records management, including minute books and board resolutions
• Experience supporting process improvement or technology-enabled service delivery
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or similar accreditation
