Tax Analyst

Summary:

This role supports the tax function for global tax processes and initiatives in the APAC region. It involves managing local Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, and GST Compliance. The position collaborates with various global tax teams on processes such as adjustments, uncertain tax positions, tax controls, and reporting. The role includes two direct reports.

Job Description:

• Prepare all direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and SEZ compliances periodically.
• Support the team in assessment and litigation processes.
• Prepare quarterly advance tax computations.
• Support statutory audits and tax compliance, including tax audits and Form 3CEB filings.
• Coordinate with other teams on tax-related matters.
• Assist the tax manager with indirect and direct tax matters.
• Provide tax account reconciliations for statutory audits.
• Ensure proper documentation for internal audits.
• Manage tax controls for specific APAC markets.
• Work closely with business and project teams on tax deliverables and implications.
• Participate in projects impacting the future strategy of the indirect tax function.
• Gather information timely to ensure compliance completion.
  

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
• Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Excel.
• SAP experience.
  

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in indirect tax compliance and audit.
